On the 8th of June the Coral Reef Alliance held a workshop in Fantasy Island, Roatan. The whole idea of this workshop was to provide information on sustainable marine tourism. We all have to understand that we can't just take and take and not invest anything into the coral reefs of this world. The Coral Reef Alliance wants to develop a set of standards for the sustainable use of the mesoamerican reef system by the marine recreation industry. These standards will be implemented in a voluntary manner throughout the region - and we as a diveshop can do a big part too.
